Salary Range

$105,000.00 - $139,000.00 per year (exempt position)

What You'll Need

  • 10+ years of relevant architectural experience in a professional office setting with an emphasis on Single Family projects (Townhomes).
  • Consistent work history with strong professional references.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD generating technical drawings is required. Revit experience is a plus.
  • Expertise in the Building Codes and general constructibility.
  • Extensive experience in construction administration including a deep understanding of structural and MEP systems.
  • Must have experience in assembling architectural detailing including waterproofing conditions.
  • Knowledge of specifications, building costs, construction schedules and sequencing.
  • Positive attitude and a continued willingness to learn.
  • Clear communication and organizational skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from an accredited school is a plus.

What You'll Do

  • Be a point of contact and resource for our Clients and Consultants - you will be an ambassador for RHA.
  • Be accountable for the accuracy of the technical drawings prepared by your team while ensuring the team adheres to established project budgets and schedules.
  • Generating of ASRs and Agreements with accurate time estimates.
  • Assist with resourcing and assigning team members as needed to meet project milestone - regularly communicate progress to the Principal.
  • Adhere to RHA CAD/Revit standards for Design and Production.
  • Be comfortable working independently, coordinating multiple projects and/or team members.
  • Accurately produce a set of organized construction documents and details for Client and/or Consultant distribution.
  • Accurately document all correspondence regarding a project between THA, the Client, and any Consultants.
  • Attend, generate, and distribute minute for project meetings, presentations, framing walks, planning commission hearings, and VE meetings with the Client.
  • Possess a strong knowledge of both constructability issues and Building Codes.
  • Research Building Code items and generate a general code analysis on projects.
  • Oversee and mentor the work of junior staff.
  • Product architectural details as needed to convey design intent while adhering to general construction and waterproofing principles.
  • Balance RHA design intent with Client requests and/or construction, always consulting with the lead RHA Designer first.
  • Oversee and coordinate the response to Building/Planning Department Plan Check comments - ensure submittal documents meet the jurisdictional requirements for completeness and accuracy.
  • Respond to RFIs from the field during construction and issue responses in a timely manner.
  • Accurately document revisions to approved sets and issue Bulleting as directed.
  • Must be able to work and excel in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple projects with varying deadlines and budgets.
