Salary Range
$39.00 - $44 per hour (non-exempt position)
What You'll Need
- 5+ Years of experience in an architectural office setting.
- Consistent work history with strong professional references.
- Proficiency in both Revit and AutoCAD generating technical drawings.
- Strong knowledge and familiarity with different Building Codes and constructability issues.
- Positive attitude and a continued willingness to learn.
- Clear communication and organizational skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from an accredited school is a plus.
What You'll Do
- Manage your time effectively and efficiently so adherence to schedules and client commitments are kept.
- Complete all assignments on time, asking questions when help is needed.
- Follow office standards for file structure and naming.
- Adhere to RHA CAD/Revit Standards for Design and Production
- Be responsible for the quality and accuracy of all of your work.
- Work as part of a team to produce accurate technical drawings.
- Assemble a set of construction documents for distribution to clients and/or consultants with assistance from support personnel, under limited supervision.
- Produce architectural detailing or construction details from design imagery with limited supervision for review and approval by SPD and Principal.
- Be comfortable working independently 60% of the time.
- Accurately document all correspondence regarding a project between RHA, the client, and any consultants.
- Attend and generate minutes for project meetings, presentations, framing walks, planning commission hearings, and VE meetings with the client.
- Research and building code items and generate a general code analysis on projects.
- Oversee and mentor the work of junior staff.
- Be responsible for the quality and accuracy of all your and your team’s work.
- Communicate effectively and frequently with the Team leader and other team members to resolve all project related issues.
- Manage your time effectively and efficiently so adherence to project schedules and budget commitments are kept.
- Follow and enforce office standards for file structure and naming.
