Timothy has had a long and distinguished career in architectural design, currently heading the design of community facilities for Robert Hidey Architects. Timothy has had extensive experience as a project manager and senior designer for civic, institutional, educational, high-density residential, affordable housing, mixed-use, transit-oriented development and commercial projects.
A huge proponent of the environment, Timothy understands the implementation of sustainable strategies will have a significant impact on how community development is addressed. Addressing “environmental issues will be our biggest challenge in the future,” said Timothy. “With the current environmental concerns and finite resources such as energy and water, inclusion of sustainable strategies will be essential to sustain our quality of life and environment.”
Previous clients include CIM Group, The Irvine Company, Rancho Mission Viejo, City of Brentwood, City of Laguna Niguel, Long Beach Unified School District, Los Angeles Unified School District, Westminster Unified School District, Pasadena Unified School District, Jewish Community Center of Orange County, Lennar Communities, Trammel Crow Residential, Shea Properties and Southern California College of Optometry.
Timothy has been heavily involved in the Architecture community as a member of the Board of Directors for AIA Orange County, the Chair for the Committee on the Environment for AIA-OC, as well as, the AIAOC President and member of the Executive Committee. Timothy has been a member of the United States Green Building Council since 2005 as a LEED accredited professional specializing in building design and construction and is currently on the AIA California Council - Housing Congress. Timothy obtained a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Southern California in 1998.
