Chris Barlow, AIA

Project Director

Having worked in leadership roles for over a decade in some of Orange County’s most respected architecture firms, Chris Barlow has vast experience with design and production of single family, multifamily, mixed-use and hospitality projects throughout the Western United States. He is known for his creativity in a variety of approaches in diverse architectural design.

“I am fortunate to have worked on several award-winning projects for some of the nation’s largest builders and developers,” said Chris. “Architecture is increasingly being pushed into higher densities due to financial and environmental factors, and I look forward to the challenge of creating new solutions to ensure high standards of livability. At the same time, buildings must prove their legitimacy based on social, cultural, and historical influences with enduring qualities that will far outlast the latest trends.”

Chris is a LEED Accredited Professional, and a licensed architect in California, Colorado and Oregon. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Architecture from the University of California at Berkeley and a Masters of Architecture from the University of Oregon.

“Every project is an opportunity to test conventional wisdom and no project should be taken for granted,” added Chris. “I always challenge myself to try something new, to either confirm or discredit what we think we know. Design solutions and construction techniques that seem daring today will become common practice in 25 years from now. New industry leaders will emerge who are not afraid to make a bold commitment to social and environmental responsibility.”
